It is over a dark amethyst glass base, which is typically Rindskopf. Identified by research form and design. Amazing and beautiful antique vase in amazing condition. It is so incredibly iridescent (over a very dark amethyst glass) that it is hard to photograph. I do not see any flaws or defects other than scuff at the bottom, as to be expected for age. Please see Item Specifics. We would consider this to be in very good used condition with signs of wear commensurate with age and use.
