Heavy brass face plate, clearly maker marked RHC, READING HARDWARE CO., OF Reading, Pennsylvania, one of the foremost manufactures of door hardware in the late 19th and early 20th Century.Front plate measures 7 3/8" by 1 3/8" wide. 1/8" thick brass. We do not have the keeper for this lock, but if you are replacing an identical existing lock you probably don't need one anyway. Comes with a new Security Guard brass key cylinder and two working keys. Box is 3 1/4" deep from the back of the front plate and it is 5" top to bottom. Screws are on 6 1/2" centers. Step back from the front of the front plate to the center of the knob post hole is 3". Accommodates a standard 3/8" swivel knob post.
