Description: Restoration Hardware 1950's Dutch ShipYard Triple Shelving. This beautiful and long time discontinued shelving cabinet is in very good shape and comes from a pet-free, smoke-free home. This Industrial shelving unit was created by RH to mimic the 1950's shelving that once organized tools and parts in a Dutch shipyard. It has exposed rivets, X-back bracing and a very cool and functional movable ladder which in past years allowed the shipwright to access the lofty upper shelves. Crafted from solid walnut wood and fine veneers and made to have scrapes and imperfections on its antiqued brushed iron and wood shelves to replicatge a worn but beautiful patina.I had this in one of my offices and had documents and paperwork on the lower sliding drawers, and beutiful RH decor pieces and some books on the shelves. Realy a nice look.It originally sold for over 3K and has been long time discountinued, but still saught after due to the build quality and unique look. I love RH decor and furntiture, especially the older industrial rustic stuff. RH used to build things extremely well.........heavy high quality and solid materials. This is consistent with that.
