I was visiting there. They & the hand made holsters & bulbs were in the store rooms. They are Revolutionary style & undoubtedly handed down in the Adams family & abandoned because of the piece cut out which made them rather damaged.” The Adams house in Quincy, Massachusetts was the home to John and Abigail Adams (1744-1818) and John Quincy (1767-1848) and Louisa Adams (1775-1852) and later became a museum with the Adams National Historical Park after Brooks Adams’ death.
