The model prior to the RS6 Silver line of speakers.Shipping via USPS ground advantage shipping to lower 48 states only.Replaces 6" 8 ohm speaker driver in Silver 6 (S6) speaker line.Tower, center channel, etc. Be carefull some listings act as if one driver is for all speakers S1,S6, the Silver Center etc. The S1 needs the 4 ohm model for it's mid woofer driver. The Silver 6 uses 2-8 OHM drivers connected to gether.This was explained to me by Monitor Audio when I needed to order replacement drivers for my S1,S6, and Silver center. You also have to remove the grille headlocks from the bad or damaged drivers and reuse them in the replacement drivers.Other then that switching drivers is pretty easy. If you were to put 2 S1 drivers in the S6 for instance the 2 4 ohm drivers would result in a 2 ohm load , which would over heat and possibly damage your amp.
