Description: This approximately 10 inch dinner plate is a beautiful adaptation of the early English Joy pattern, featuring green ivy and a printed backstamp. Made by Crown Ducal in England, this vintage plate is perfect for adding a touch of elegance to any dining occasion. It is a single replacement plate and is ideal for completing a set of Crown Ducal dinnerware. The underside of the plate contains several small areas that are unglazed. Some have a small indent. I believe this is from grate the plate was set on during the glazing process. Every piece of dishware that I have seen from Crown Ducal has this feature. The plate looks lightly used or unused.
