Description: For sale is a professionally remanufactured in USA 160 Amp alternator with a 2 prong RVC (Regulated Voltage Control) regulator, that fits the following: 2008-2009 AM GENERAL Hummer H3, 5.3L. IT WILL NOT FIT THE 3.7L ENGINE. Please compare your alternator to our pictures before placing your order. This is the higher, 160 amp version of the original 145 Amp alternator. The alternator includes a serpentine pulley. We are selling this unit outright so a core exchange is not needed. This unit has been bench tested using a D&V test bench and carries a 3 year warranty. As with all alternators, please make sure to install this unit in a vehicle which has a fully charged and load-tested battery. Also, please check all of the electrical connections related to the alternator to verify that there are no frayed or corroded cables, poor battery terminal clamps, or any loose or corroded connections in the system. Units which have been damaged due to negligence on the part of the installer are not covered under warranty. It is the buyer's responsibility to verify that this unit fits the vehicle's application.
