This is a new Custom-Build Stratocaster "style" Guitar that's been Relic'd (or Aged) to resemble a heavily used Vintage Stratocaster. "ALDER BODY" with what's left of a Sunburst finish. It's been distressed showing very heavy finish wear, dents, dings & chips to replicate age & playwear from many years of use. Since removal of most of finish exposed the bare wood, the entire Body was conditioned with lemon oil to refresh & protect. "ALL" the Hardware has been aged, down to every screw! These are cosmetic only modifications that doesn't affect playability.Pickups and are Fender designed Single-Coil Pickups from a late model Squier Classic-Vibe Stratocaster, that sound great in this Guitar! They have very strong output, clarity and presents in all 5 selection positions. Has a 3-ply White Pearl Pickguard with matching back Tremolo Cover, that have been aged. Also aged Cream Pickup Covers, Knobs, Switch & Tremolo Arm Tips. Vintage style Bridge/Tailpiece with Fender/Fender logo bent-steel Saddles. Tremolo-Arm (Whammy-Bar) is included.Has a Canadian Maple Neck with a 21 medium/jumbo Fret "EBONY" Fretboard. 25.5" scale, 7.25" radius, 1-11/16" Nut width, 2-1/8" Heel width. To ensure great playability, the Fretboard has been lightly sanded with a very fine grit, conditioned with lemon-oil, then thoroughly buffed to make the Fretboard nice & smooth, better than it came from the manufacture and plays with ease. *I do this to almost all Guitars I sell, new & used and makes for a significant improvement in playability. Frets are perfectly mint and have been polished so they're bright & slick. Fret ends rounded a bit more for a comfortable feel. *Note that the Fretboard wasn't distressed for best playability. Back of the Neck was carefully sanded to remove some of the finish, sanded with several more grits to smooth out, buffed, stained to replicate play wear, then thoroughly buffed again. *Back of the Neck wasn't distressed either for great playability. There aren't any dents or dings. It's "ultra-smooth" and fast! Headstock has a vintage style decal applied, then the entire Headstock sealed with Satin Lacquer, then Relic'd. Has new vintage style Inline Tuners (also aged), and a Bone Nut. Also, a new Fender Spaghetti Logo Neck Plate that's been Relic'd.Strung up with a fresh set of quality D'Addario 10-46 Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done including; truss-rod relief, low action, intonation and pickup heights.Absolutely wonderful playing & sounding Strat with a vibe of its own and is an affordable alternative! I consider Guitars to be "playable Art", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I'm not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I'm "extremely meticulous"! If you're looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don't) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it's a used Guitar, I'm sure you've found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one! Also, will other Seller's description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can't predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference "may" be required, and if you can't do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up, that again may require adjustments on your end.
