REFINISHED Giuseppe Armani Mother & Child Discover Swan Figurine Florence 87

Description: **********This item appears to have been refurbished/refinished at some point. ********* The structure itself appears to be intact and without chips or similar damage compared to other photos found of similarly titled figure, original figure. It DOES have the imprinted "Florence" stamp and texture and divets seem to line up based on a visual comparison between it and photos of similarly titled figures. ******* While photographing this figurine I noted the following indicating it has been altered at some point in time for an unknown reason ******** Indicators of fake/forgery or perhaps very poor repair: - The base is a different quality than other G. Armani figurines. It is stained similarly but feels lighter and without anticipated seal. - The overall coloring is not clear and precise like original. It appears to be heavier in hard to reach sections and not as detailed for which the series is known - Some overlap/streaking can be seen in the new finish. - NO SIGNATURE - NO "G. Armani" on the base plate. - "N" porcelain indicator has been altered as evidenced by being a darker shade of blue and looking similar to but actually different accents placed to the left of the brand figure stamp instead of distanced to the right. Again, all observational comparisons indicate the sculpture itself is in BEAUTIFUL form. This could be refinished in clear matte/gloss or repainted by a talented person to be a wonderful, and then personalized, figurine.
