Description: Red Gold Hand Painted Carpet Balls Orbs Victorian Scroll & Flowers Ornate Pair Each Unique One orb is slightly larger than the other. They are 3.5" and 3.25" weighing 6.3 ounces and 5.2 ounces. They sound hollow, appear to be made of carved wood but may be resin. We honestly can't tell. The red is very deep red, almost mahogany or maroon. Some of our photos make them look brighter andlighter red than they are in reality. We would say the color is most like our 1st and 12th photos. The carved scroll work is ornate on the larger orb. The smaller one has carved flowers with bands offloral lily heads looking designs.In very good used older condition. The smaller orb has a small area of dullness looking like the shiny finishwas peeled off a bit. It can be seen best in our 11th photo. There are some stray paint brush marks hereand there from the artist. There are a couple very minor small dents on the larger orb. 574100 Blue Tag Container
