Description: A beautiful collectible 4 stamp block set of U.S. postage stamps issued in 1987 to pay tribute to Chief Red Cloud who was one of the most successful Native American opponents that the US Army faced. After signing the Treaty of Fort Laramie in 1868, he led his people in the transition to reservation life. These stamps have never been used and are as fresh as the day they were sold at the Post Office over 30 years ago! Suitable for framing, they would make a great gift to anyone interested in Native Indian History! See my other auctions for other blocks of historical significance! All stamps are Mint Never Hinged. Shipping is $1.00 for first class mail. Additional stamp block auctions won, paid for in one COMBINED transaction and shipped at the same time are only 25 cents extra per auction (sheets and booklets not included), with a maximum shipping charge of $5.00, no matter how many auctions you win. Please pay for all of your auctions in one payment. All payments are to be in US currency only. I send stamps out when I receive your payment or the day after if the mail has already gone out. Thanks for looking at my auction. If you have any questions, please email me before bidding.
