Description: I bought this rectangular handmade baking dish directly from the Polish Pottery factory in Bolesławiec (south-western Poland) in the early 1990s. This type of pottery dates back to the early Middle Ages and is sometimes called by its German name "Bunzlau pottery" or "Bunzlauer pottery". The dish has a pattern of symbolized trees in white with a green dot at the base on blue ground. It could be used year round, and would look great on your table during the Holidays. It is in very good used condition without any damage, cracks, repairs or crazing. On the inside bottom there are some firing imperfections (raised dots) that are very hard to see in the pattern. The size is approximately 7" X 9 1/2" x 2" From non smoking home.
