This is a new, out of box, pump (demo unit) used to drive autopilots for boats with hydraulic steering and 12-volt power systems. Most auto pilot kits do not include the pump due to sizing requirements. It is necessary to match the autopilot pump to your steering system. In order to do so, you will need to determine the volume of your steering system's hydraulic cylinder ram or rams(s) mounted to the rudder on inboard engine boats, or the cylinder mounted to the drive unit on an outboard engine. The volume this pump is suited for is rated at 50 to 110cc (3.1 - 6.7 in) and is usually combined with Raymarine ACU-100. It is also suitable for Volvo D4/D6 Sterndrive applications.
