Description: Here is a stunning looking and rare to find vintage 1928 ornate Elgin Model 4-E 7 jewels art deco mens 14K yellow gold filled watch in good condition. This watch originally sold for $55 in 1928 !. The watch does not run although the balance wheel is moving weakly - it will need repair before use. The ornate 14K gold filled case is in very good fine condition just showing some scratches from case opening on the back cover and no plate loss or dings or dents - it is very nice - see images. The only part which is not original is the crown which should have a suitable replacement. The original dial shows some spotting but is still very clear. The crystal has some light scratch wear and is very clear. The watch is 30mm in width including the winding crown and 34mm from lug to lug. Rare Elgin art deco model in good condition.
