Own a piece of United States history. This original wooden cigar box is a survivor and easily in better than very good condition. It is clear of any major defects, or extraneous markings. The interior of the box is relatively clean with a light water stain that penetrated through to the underside. The box lid paper hinge is still intact and pliable. It held 50 Cigars at a retail price of not more than 5 cents each. The label is copyrighted 1922, by Peter McGuigan & Sons, Number 24151. The underside is stamped with Fact. No. 1338 1st Dist. of Pa.
