RARE Travler Power-Mite TR-285-B transistor pocket radio w/CASE 1958

Description: RARE Power-Mite TR-285-B transistor portable radio w/CASE circa 1958 Please see all pics!! Sold AS-IS for parts. Vintage ... RARE ... TRAVLER ... TRANSISTOR RADIO ... TR285B or TR-285-B ... POWER MITE ... as PROJECT or PARTS unit as NON WORKING CONDITION ... see photos ... This is a not often found TRAV-LER SIX Transistor Rado circa 1958 ... Sometimes referred to as just the POWERMITE in reference books. This one is in fair to good condition found in a recent estate sale. As for details ... the ON OFF SWITCH seems to work fine ... The Tuning Dial travels around as it should ... The Plastic brown carrying CASE and strap have no chips with only minimal wear for age. Front cover of the radio is an OFF WHITE leaning to cream yellow with age apparent wear. The kickstand is still good. The sides of the case have been slightly pulled in by the kickstand tightness (is our best guess). The model label on the inside back cover is good and the insides still look quite clean.
