Description: Rare, possibly one-of-a-kind antique hand woven Ash Splint Basket inside a Basket !!! In all my years of buying and selling Country Antiques this Basket is a first for me ! It was made like this on day one. I'm sure it had a purpose, possibly as a Sewing Notion Basket. The outter Basket is 13 1/4" X 13 1/4" and 6" tall. The inner Basket is 8 1/2" X 8 1/2".
