I am very pleased to offer for auction an extremely rare original Frankart L-221 double nude lamp with a pink crackle glass square shade. The lamp comes in its original green finish. It does have wear, paint chips and bare metal where the paint has come off - all typical for a lamp of its vintage. It is signed “ FRANKART F604 © “ on one end and “ PAT.DES. 78419 “ on the other. The lamp is approximately 9 ½” tall, and the base is approximately 7” across and 3” deep. The lamp alone without the shade weighs about 4 ½ lbs. The lamp is accompanied by a lovely peachy pink squarish crackle glass shade (possibly a Sarsaparilla replacement shade from the 1970s-1980s). Normally these shades comes in the taller version. However, this shade was professionally cut to the appropriate height for the lamp, if it is indeed a Sarsaparilla. The crackle shade is approximately 7” in height and is in very good condition with no cracks. This lamp is extremely rare and hardly ever comes for auction. Pictures are an important part of the description - please carefully check all of them for condition.
