RARE NOS INTERNATIONAL HARVESTER 1970 1971 SUN TACHOMETER ST-623 & NC-5 SCOUT II

Description: For sale is a rare optional dealer accessory Sun 5K tachometer ST-623 and Sun mounting cup NC-5 for International Harvester vehicles such as Scout II, Travelall 1010-1110-1210, etc. These have been sitting on a shelf for many years. The chrome bezel has a couple of small blemishes/ dents from self wear. There is NO transmitter, but I don’t know which one it would use if does use one at all. Unfortunately, I don’t know if it uses one or not. The IH part # is 871345R92. I can’t read the IH part number on the cup box, but I know it is an original NC-5 box. I'm not 100% sure the actual year range that this tach was sold by IH dealerships. From what I understand, the Sun ST line was produced from around 1960-70. These are actually original NOS Sun boxes that IH had placed their own labels over the original Sun labels. I see the date on the tachometer box that stamped “770” which I believe to be for July 1970. From my understanding is that original Sun tachometers that didn’t have the name “Sun” printed on the front were to be used in OEM applications.
