Description: Gorgeous, large autographed Brearley photo of Ted Williams and Joe DiMaggio here Terrific posed shot of The Splendid Splinter and The Yankee Clipper was taken at Fenway Park in 1950, with this sharp 24 x 20" print made from the original negative owned by Boston-area photojournalist Dennis Brearley. The Brearley Collection operated out of the historic Faneuil Hall Marketplace, selling classic Red Sox, Celtics, Bruins images, along with old time city scenes and landmarks. Photos this size (24 x 20") were special orders and pricey. This one was signed by Dennis Brearley himself in the lower right portion, with The Brearley Collection stamp on the back. This colossal photo was taken to two different 1990's card shows in the New York City area, where the previous owner acquired both of the Hall of Famer's paid autographs in blue Sharpie. Each of the signatures are very bold and excellent quality on the Near Mint condition photograph. Ted Williams passed away in 2002; DiMaggio in 1999 and Brearley in 2003. This terrific autographed Williams and DiMaggio photo looks even nicer in-hand than my iPhone shots make it appear.
