I have kept it in a climate controlled storage for the last +30 years. In overall good to very good condition. Colors very vibrant and not faded. Colors have not yellowed for it was never exposed to sunlight before. Overall excellent condition for a print from a 40 year vintage. Never framed before. Frame is for reference purposes only. Printed on all white paper. Please note that I will ship this rolled in a very strong high quality tube. Shipping is therefore a little bit more expensive. In excellent condition. Joan Miró was born April 20, 1893, in Barcelona, Spain. His mature style evolved from the tension between his fanciful, poetic impulse and his vision of the harshness of modern life. He worked extensively in lithography and produced many murals, tapestries, and sculptures for public spaces. In spite of his fame, Joan Miró, an introvert, continued to devote himself exclusively to looking and creating. Condition is excellent for its age. Would look stunning in a right frame. I used to know everyone in the field back in the day. I once met a gallery owner who had a large amount of valuable prints stored underneath his bed. One day he came home and he discovered his dog had chewed on all the art rendering it worthless. He lost about $100,000.00 in value that day and he still loved his dog. Make sure to have them open it in your presence so you can both agree on the condition when you left it so there are no disputes. Ask if they offer some kind of insurance policy in case they damage it (it has happened). Have it framed with acid-free matting and a plexiglass frame with UV-filter.
