Description: This exquisite cat figurine is a rare find for any collector of fine porcelain figurines. Made in Germany between 1914-1941 by Hertwig & Co, this playful kitty has marvelous detail. The white porcelain is decorated with fired gold accents. It has the blue house Katzhutte mark and imbedded stamp "58" on the bottom. This piece has been lovingly cared for through the years. There are areas of the gold fading, a tiny black dot under the glaze and a notch on one of the ears. This notch may be just a part of detail because it is smooth to touch and glazed. It measures 12” base to tip of tail and 6.25” wide.
