Description: A rare late Georgian early Victorian solid silver vinaigrette box. It is unmarked but test as high grade silver. I would date it to c1820-1840s, possibly earlier. It has been unusually made being of circular form. It is in super condition being free from dings splits distortions and repairs. The hinge is smooth and tight. It measures approx. 1 inch (2.6cm) across by almost 0.75 inch (1.5cm) tall and weighs 14 grams. A very high quality rare piece. Also on Selling Antiques.
