Description: RARE COLLECTIBLE COUNTERFIET $500.00 CONFEDERATE STATES OF AMERICA & THE UNIED STATES OF AMERICA $500.00 CERTIFICATE # 9229- DATED FEB 17, 1864 and signed by the Treasurer of South Carolina. Has a picture of a seal of Andrew Jackson riding his horse. This is a nice piece. It does however have a torn area on a fold app. 5/8" long. I am keeping this in a plastic bag to try to keep it from getting any bigger. The part that has been folded for years is beginning to come apart also. I am leaving as is and sellling AS IS and no returns. I did the reserch on this piece but it came out that this is a counterfiet.They said the the counterfiet may bring me more money than an original. I am listing it here.
