Description: ITEM DESCRIPTION:Up for sale is a very hard to find brooch dating to the 1940’s which is also featured in the book “Plastic Jewelry” by Kelley & Lyngerda (Schiffer publications 1987). It is 3 1/4” long x 1 1/8” wide x 5/8” thick and is carved from end of day bakelite. The colors swirl from orange to green, to yellow and the pin has a dangling functional perfume vinaigrette flask. It has no markings and it is in very good condition. It has been semichrome tested for bakelite. SHIPPING:First class shipping, insurance, and handling in the US is $8. I am happy to ship multiple auction wins in the same package at the actual cost plus insurance. International shipping is through ebay’s global shipping program. I try my best to wrap all items securely, and to ship in a timely fashion. Once the item is wrapped, a shipping label is created, and the tracking number is provided on ebay. I personally have my packages scanned by the post office before they obtain possession.
