Description: RARE EARLY LIMOUSINE CAR LEHMANN LUXUS (this is the original / proper model.... it is not one of the common reproduction type cars) LUXURY FOUR DOOR (all opening) LIMOUSINE CLOCKWORK / WIND UP MECHANISM ELECTRIC LIGHTING ( untested function) THE LARGEST TIN MODEL CAR PRODUCED BY LEHMANN TOYS measures about 32 cm / or nearly 13 inches MADE IN GERMANY dates from around 1929 rear end displays with production info, including patent dates of 1913, 1927 and the most recent one of 1929. nice looking in its original red & white colour scheme TINPLATE CONSTRUCTION GREAT LOOKING INTERIOR, INCLUDING THE LARGE ORIGINAL DRIVER FIGURE. all doors still open / close and latch ..... FOUR DOOR OPENING LIMO front electric headlights ; retains the rear registration light plate (electrics untested). adjusting front steering correct wheels etc... very clean underside condition after best part of a century is nice; displays with some natural surface blemishes, age lines, chips, scratch ,scuffs etc... CERTAINLY NOTHING UNSIGHTLY motor mechanism will still wind up and spin wheels (has to be pressure on wheel axle, as it has the anti-run feature)....the spring/axle is slightly brighter than other components, so possible renewed since 1920's.... spring is strong; orig. winding key head lacking, though any suitable size key can be used to wind-up. nice and solid, not rotten A RARELY SEEN AUTOMOBILE; ITS SHEER SIZE MAKES IT A GREAT DISPLAY PIECE (please see all the images for the actual condition of my GREAT LOOKING LIMOUSINE).
