Description: Listing for a very rare set of 6 steak knifes in a Mid-Century Modern style by John Primble. High grade stainless with an acid etched JOHN PRIMBLE to the blade. Handle is full tang with aluminum scales cast directly to the blade handle. The scales are then shaped after the casting is finished. Makes for a very smooth well balanced feel. Nice modernist Midcentury design. These are very similar to the early original Gerber kitchen knives. Each knife is 8.75" long, with a 4.25" blade. Non-serrated. Normal marks from use but NO damage from improper sharpening. These knives probably came in a display box as I have never seen a John Primble block but this listing comes with a period mcm block that matches very well. The block stands full vertical so the heavy handles will not tip the block. Block is solid hardwood with a nice sheen. Block measures 5" x 3" x 2.75"
