Bisiaux' for Pierre Bisiaux (French, born 1924-2005) A painter and lithographer, Pierre Bisiaux first studied art at the Academy in Valenciennes before being accepted into the School of Decorative Arts in Paris where he studied under Maurice Brianchon, Gustave Corlin and Roland Oudot. Bisiaux has exhibited successfully in France, including at the Exhibition for Young Painters where he received a fourth place (1950) and third place (1957) juried award prize, the Salon des Moines de Trente Ans (1950, 1957), and the Autumn Salon (1951) of which he became a member in 1961. Bisiaux has also successfully exhibited abroad in San Francisco. His works can be found in the permanent collections of the National Museum of Modern Art in Paris, as well as in Tournai and Valenciennes.
