Description: This listing is for a rare antique French perpetual calendar clock with moon phase features and a barometer. This clock comes from France and was made for the English market. The case is made from slate stone with green marble inlay. The entire piece has 3 dials. The middle dial features the clock’s 8 day time/strike movement and has a lovely open escapement. The righthand dial has a barometer in it. The left hand dial features the rare calendar movement. The calendar side shows the month, date, day, and has a scrolling moon phase. The clock is in overall good condition. There are some minor nicks to the stone, but nothing out of the ordinary. The movement was last serviced in 2017. We recently tested the clock and it ran and chimed. Due to construction on our building, we didn’t get to test it long enough to check the accuracy on the calendar and moon. The clock measures 18.75 (width) x 6.5 (depth) x 17 (height) inches Please note that any mechanical clock that is shipped might require minor adjustments upon arrival and thus time accuracy cannot be guaranteed.
