Description: UP FOR SALE:Rare Antique American Town Auditor's at Odds with Selectmen Broadside! NH! 1878! Fantastic Antique Victorian American Broadside! Seems that one of the Auditor felt as though the way the Selectmen run the town, made it difficult to comply with the people of the towns wishes. And that because the message could not be added to the Report, the Auditor produced these Broadsides to spread the message. Notice The Auditor's Report The Following applies only to the last section of the Report. "We would respectfully say that in the limited time afforded, and the manner in which the selectmen conducted the business of the town, it was impossible for the Auditors to comply with the vote of the town Requiring a detailed or itemized Report." I submitted the above to the other Auditor, Mr. Smith, and he objected to its being published in the Report and his objections were that it would reflect upon the selectmen. P. W.
