RARE Antique 1887 Family Bible Old & New Testaments Metal Hinges

Description: Very, very, very old and fragile, literally falling apart. Cracked between binding and first page. No writing in book other than inscription as shown in photo Inscribed "Mrs Sarah A. Ziegler Dec 25, 1887 from Jessie" as best I can read it. Detailed commentary on each page of both the Old and the New Testament (not handwritten by owners) Colored pages in the front as shown. Family details are not written in. Preface for both testaments contains historical and background information with black and white illustrations. Illustrative engravings on steel. Full size black and white illustrations throughout. Metal hinges or clasps to keep the book closed. The hinges are supposed to connect with metal posts on the front of the bible but one one of the posts is missing.
