Description: A rare and stunning English solid sterling silver dish ring. It is hallmarked for Sheffield 1908 with the maker being Fenton Brothers Ltd. It has superbly designed to hold a hot pan or plate off the table surface. It has been pierced with animals including a swan and fox, the cartouche has been engraved with a griffin crest. It is in superb condition being free from splits and repairs, just the odd faint mark.
