The Fulton Machine & Vise Company was established in Lowville, New York in 1905 for the express purpose of manufacturing the Reed Patent vise, which was patented on February 16, 1904 by Hiram Reed of Erie, Pennsylvania. This rare two-inch size example operates 100%. Swivel lock pin is free and operates as designed as well as the body rotation. Locks position when main spindle is clamped down. I have not cleaned the vise, as-found.
