Description: Vintage 1987 Kenner The Real Ghostbusters Series 1 Bug Eye Ghost FIRST SHOT PROTOTYPE Fully painted, UNDATED and NO MOLD NUMBER. Originally sourced from a Kenner engineer that worked directly on Bug Eye and H2Ghost. RGB preproduction doesn’t come up here often, and rarely anything for series 1 ghosts. Some other noticeable differences from production include thinner red eye veins, thicker green part of iris and red string attached to eye. Of the 3 Bug Eye prototypes that I’ve seen, all have had the red string, whereas production has the yellow/green string. Additionally, the first shot is a much softer rubber, compared to production.
