Rare 1972 Mighty World Of Marvel UK Comic #2 With Spider-Man Iron-On Marvelmania

Description: Up for auction is a very hard to find Mighty World Of Marvel comic magazine #2, from 1972. The United Kingdom was the second largest Marvel Comics market during the late-1960's until the 1980's. They were reprinted versions of the American stories with revised cover art. What made their versions different is that in some issues they would include a "free gift" inside. These were very well designed and made. This is the second iron-on of Spider-Man to be manufactured in the UK and the third ever made anywhere. The transfer is in Very Fine while the comic is in Fine, and it even has its stamp coupon intact (Pic #4). The transfer is so rare to have survived unused and a collector would be hard-pressed to find another.
