Description: Circa 1940s, 19" beautiful lady with blue sleep eyes and reddish wig. Dressed like "Gibson Girl". Carol is wearing a navy taffeta skirt, light pink silk shirt with white lace bow at neck; silk petticoat; long white knit stocking and white shoes. She also has a long black velvet cape with white fur trim and a velvet hat (not pictured). Beautifully perfect fact, no missing or damaged parts. This doll comes from the collection of my mother-in-law. "Carol" was on display in a temperature controlled room, away from little hands. MIL and her mother were active members of the United Federation of Doll Collectors (UFDC), traveling to various conventions in search of "must have" dolls to add to their collections.
