Description: RARE- 1880 Sub Rosa Cigarettes - #N508 -"Out At First"- Women Baseball Players Up for sale is a pretty rare, and very early 1880 baseball tobacco card. Not only is it historically early, but this set depicts women ballplayers. Other than that I don't know much else about this card. The card itself obviously has condition flaws. Well worn corners, a "crunch" in the bottom edge, significant paper loss on both front and back. A pencil mark "6" on back. However, this card IS 144 years old, and despite all the paper loss, the image of the woman ball player catching the ball (barehanded) is still clearly visible. I just love this card. The incredible age, the historic image, and women playing baseball in 1880. What more could you ask from a baseball card? Did I mention it's RARE?
