Description: This version of the Grand Central quilt is made with both solid and pinwheel blocks surrounding the feature sunflower panel. Solid black coping strips are used to frame this panel and bring it up to the size required. The kit contains a purchased copy of Grand Central pattern/instructions designed by Swirly Girls Designs along with enough fabric to complete the quilt top and edge binding as shown in picture 1. Backing fabric and batting will need to be purchased separately. Fabric Utopia carries several coordinates from the collection that can be purchased for your backing. The overall finished size of this quilt as shown in picture 1 is 60" x 78". Printed fabrics in this kit are from the Sundance collection designed by Chong-A Hwang, Solid-Ish and SOHO Solids collections all by Timeless Treasures. Pictures 2 thru 10 show all the fabrics included in this kit. There are no substitutions in this kit. Skill Level: Confident Beginner The pattern recommends 5 yards of fabric for the backing assuming a 44/45" width fabric along with a 68" x 86" piece of batting. Additional fabric could be needed if using a directional print, for fabric design matching or if adding additional borders. Backing fabric and batting are NOT included in this kit. A little over 6-1/2 yards of fabric is included with the kit along with the pattern. We have included a Fabric Conversion Chart including a picture of this quilt project with the pattern!
