A fine quality Victorian English silver jug, has a circular round form, bulbous body, a beautiful scroll handle and stands on four beautiful detailed cast feet.Interior has an excellent coverage of gilt, only thinning very slightly on the rim / pouring spout area. The jug is 170 years of age, quite remarkable to find one in this condition. Fully hallmarked on the underside of the Jugs pedestal base, Hallmarks are in excellent condition, very clear and easily readable.
