NM minus will have some sleeve residue, minor surface wear, surface noise, and/or minor scuffs and hairlines. E will show light wear or surface marks and will have some surface noise. VG+ will have medium wear and marks/scratches and will play with surface noise. VG will have heavier wear and significant marks/scratches and will play with considerable surface noise. Jackets - I try to mention significant damage like seam splits, writing and corner creases, but most jackets will show some minor signs of age or shelf wear.
