Diademed head of Ptolemy I right, wearing aegis around neck / Eagle, with closed wings, standing left on thunderbolt; L IZ (date) to left; ΠA to right. Svoronos 1677; Olivier 6192–204 (obv. die D539); SNG Copenhagen 366; DCA2 1148. There is a small amount of metal missing in the middle of Ptolemy's face showing the copper core. An excellent example of an ancient forgery.
