Description: Pottery/clay head with headdress of Pre-Columbian origin. Undetermined geographical origin. Obtained from the estate of Hugh H. Doney, a lifelong geologist who traveled extensively with his job and collected anything of historical value. This piece is probably of Central American origin and, most likely, is Mayan. Piece measures about 1.5 inches tall and nearly 1.5 inches across. The stand is not part of the sale. Good condition with expected wear and condition for an artifact of this age. Don't hesitate to contact me with questions. I combine items for reduced shipping but in order to do this you must place your items in the shopping cart prior to paying. If there are multiple item auctions you have won, let me know they are to be combined before you pay, and I can send an invoice with the combined shipping charges if you put your items in the shopping cart first and request an invoice. If you pay for the items individually, I cannot combine shipping. Postage will be paid by buyer for returns and refund will consist of the purchase price, less my shipping cost unless the item is not as described. Item must be returned in the same condition as received and must be packed as well as originally shipped. In the event you are unhappy with your purchase, please contact me to resolve the issue. I am very proud of my positive feedback and try hard to represent items honestly to the best of my ability. Thanks very much for looking.
