The loot consists of two heavyweights and one New Haven style baggage car. These cars are originals from the 1950s. The cars used are most likely 953, 954 and definitely 951. All cars are KNUCKLE coupler. The 951 Railway Express Agency Car Has been redecaled and probably clear coated. The original 951 and REA lettering have been left in tact. The car has had added in gold lettering: Gold "Pennsylvania" added on each side On one side, the Pennsylvania is half darkened 6039718345692 Baggage and Express United States Mail Railway Post Office Through Car Chicago Club Combination Car Has been redecaled and clear coated. The car has had added all in gold: Baggage and Express Chicago Club 8035718845692 PULLMAN Observation car Has been redecaled and clear coated. The car has had added all in gold ON ONE SIDE ONLY: PULLMAN Rainbow Canyon 60397 The other side has the word PULLMAN ONLY. CONDITION: Overall a weak C-6. Complete cars, but very good due to the re-decal job. These cars started life as the postwar heavyweights. Someone painted, decalled, and in two cases have clear coated the cars to make them custom. Difficult to tell under the clear coat if cars were also repainted or touched up prior to clear coat. It is NOT the most professional custom job. Cars are complete. Trucks and couplers are complete.
