Description: There was a giant flea market in a big city on the northeastern seaboard, where this poster was being sold in the 80s -- I had to have it because it was GIUSEPPE VERDI and a portion of a favorite opera aria, Celeste Aida. Rumor had it from the seller the poster had served as a prop on a movie and hung in the hallway of as part of the decor in the hallway near the door. The movie was with Dustin Hoffin, and was either 'Marathon Man' or 'Kramer versus Kramer'. Of course, the purpose was Verdi, but I intend to see both movies to discover if there is truth behind the fact that this very poster could have served a great movie (if either of these). I'll update the information when I have the time to verify! In the meantime, it's a fantastic etching of Giuseppe Verdi and 3 lines from a great tenor aria. Even with the wear, tear, use on this poster, it's a great find, and difficult to find it this day and age.
