Later moved to Schiltigheim in Strasbourg.” The cover, an oblong, cream card, is printed with a dark brown line drawing and lettering. 4 pp. text followed by 20 individual black-and-white tear-out postcards, with tissue guards. 20 detachable/sendable postcards reproduced from paintings by the French painter, Francois Flameng. Each image is of a scene from the Great War (WWI), with the title and "Collection F. Flameng" printed on front. The museum's small stamp is on the back of each. The booklet starts with a brief introduction by J. Vacquier, first in French, followed by the English translation. A historic souvenir, now a century old. Postcards VG; covers have light shelf wear; cover separating at hinge for one inch (see photos), but still intact; 4 pp. text fragile but in good condition. Outside edges have some foxing. Previous price (20) marked on cover inside a circle. Overall, VG/G. Edition de la Societe des Amis du Musee de l'Armee. Album is 5.8” by 3.8.” Research into the writer: Jules Félix Vacquier (26 décembre 1864, Tours – 20 avril 1932, Azay-sur-Cher). Vacquier had a military career and also was a historian of architecture and painting.
