Description: Beautiful cocktail dress created in the 1940s / early 1950s era made of a light pink coloured floral lace (I think the lace is a cotton blend but there are no labels). A very well made & tailored garment, the short sleeved party dress features a fitted sheath cut with a scoop neckline, darted bust, nipped waist and a pencil cut knee length skirt with a huge peplum around the waist - very dramatic. The dress has a lightweight lining and closes at the back with a metal zipper and hidden snaps. MEASUREMENTS: No labels ... the bust measures 34 inches (therefore fits a size 32 bust best), the waist measures 24 inches and hips are 38 inches. There is no stretch to the dress - as always, remember to leave room for you when using these measurements to determine fit. The dress is 42.5 inches in length.
