Porsgrunds Porselænsfabrik's fabled pixie lines were drawn in 1898 by the factory owner's 14/15-year-old daughter Sigrid Rachlev. The decor is based on the real Norwegian and playful barn gnomes and has over the years become part of the Norwegian cultural heritage.
