Polymix PX.4001 is suitable for seam sealing like welded seams, overlapping panels in all internal vehicle bodywork and painted sheet metals which includes the reproduction of original brush marks, simple and demanding bonding as well as for vibration reduction and sound deadening measures in car body repair and car body construction. Suitable substrates are metals, metal primers, paint coatings, and painted plastics. Features include a wide spectrum of adhesion, ability to withstand high dynamic stresses, permanent flexibility, sound dampening and vibration regulation properties, bonds and seals simultaneously, and is easily tooled, brushed, and smoother to recreate texture. During application the surfaces to be treated should be perfectly clean, dry and free from particles and grease. It is necessary to treat the bonding surface according to application guidelines.
