We know this product inside and out. We are passionate about what we do and how we do it. Each piece is hand made, this is not a mass produced product. The methods used to create this unique stoneware mean that no two pieces will ever be exactly alike. Every piece we sell is first quality unless otherwise noted. Polish Pottery is not just cookware that looks pretty, it's one of the most durable kinds of cookware available. By following a few simple guidelines you will not only fall in love with how our pottery looks but how our pottery functions as well. It is lead and cadmium free (I have personally had pieces from each factory we carry independently ground down and tested). Polish pottery (also referred to as Polish stoneware) is completely safe to use in your oven, microwave, dishwasher and is safe to to throw in the freezer as well (although we recommend letting pieces from the freezer come close to room temp before putting in the oven). We have even cooked an entire meal in our stoneware on our gas grill. Fired at high temperatures and twice glazed, this stoneware is a dream to clean. With so much "disposable" kitchenware out there today, why not try something that will last a generation? Regarding Shipping~ Shipping is a huge cost for all of us. While we would love to offer "free" shipping, there really is no such thing. So we try to keep our costs to a minimum. In fact we usually end up paying part of the tab ourselves. We always combine shipping WHEN POSSIBLE. Sometimes if you order several large pieces it may not be possible to save much on shipping but we promise to do our best and never profit from it.
