All Carburetor/Intake parts have been drained of fuel. Sometimes these parts sit on a shelf for several weeks/months prior to selling them. YOU or YOUR MECHANIC are solely responsible for making sure the part(s) are properly cleaned, lubricated, and installed by a professional mechanic. We highly suggest servicing carburetors and throttle bodies following the Factory/OEM Service Manual guidelines for proper assembly procedures and torque values for all fasteners.
